Q1. Discipline
- how good is it?
A: Very good - There is
mutual respect. The family atmosphere makes it difficult
for students to be deviants. Each student makes an effort
to fit in and be part of the Austin's family?
Q2. Drugs - is there
a problem?
A: Definitely not on campus.
Students are well informed on the consequences and there
is a general feeling of well being that makes it difficult
for anyone to bring in these unwanted elements.
Q3. Do you students mix
and mingle well?
A: Very much. It is actually
an amazing sight as to how well they relate with each
other without any, racial, ethnic or tribal prejudices.
Q4. Why do you admit
students with all sorts of grades?
A: We believe in 'education
is every child's right'. What we do at St. Austin's is
try and nurture the potential every child has to its maximum
a student coming in "D' grade will be pushed to get
a 'C' or a 'B' and an 'A' grade student will end up have
A+.
