Applying to St Austin's AcademyShould you have any questions about St Austin's Academy, or wish to register you child, please contact the Academy during office hours, Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm or Saturdays 8.00am - 12.00pm, to arrange a time to see either the Principal or the relevant Assistant Principal. Appointments may also be made outside the above office hours by arrangement.
The Enrolment procedure has three steps : InterviewYou and your child will be interviewed by the Principal and/or the relevant Assistant Principal and his/her level will be assessed. With younger children we often advise s/he spend a day or a half-day with the probable Year group so as to have a better idea as to whether s/he will be appropriately placed. At this time, should you wish to proceed, you should complete the 'Acceptance Form' and pay the Registration Fee.
Waiting ListPayment of the registration fee puts your child's name on the Waiting List for that Year group. When a vacancy arises, you will be contacted in order of your seniority on the list and offered the place, subject to a time constraint. EnrolmentShould you accept the offer of a place, payment of the tuition fees guarantees the enrolment of your child in his / her Year group.
